Every agency starts with the same raw materials, twenty-six characters and three primary colors.
The only real difference is people. They build the vocabulary. They add the voice, the face and
the personality. Here are some of the Pasadena people who make a difference.

Contact Tony

Tony discovered the power of writing when his senior class comedy act nearly got him kicked out of Marple Newtown Senior High School outside of Philadelphia. He survived, however, and graduated from Penn State University, honing his writing skills in theater, television and film in the United States and Germany, where he first met his partner in advertising, Suzanne Marks.

“To me, all writing is poetry, which is especially true with advertising. It’s not just the rhythm and line, but the incredible value of each word. When you only have a few seconds to reach an audience, every syllable is precious. So I write with great care, and rewrite with great frequency. There is no end to the possibilities, merely the unavoidable interruption of deadlines.”

Tony bases his award-winning writing on a thorough understanding of the language, the client, the product and the audience. Only after the clients’ strategic goals are established and understood, will Pasadena move in any creative directions. The results of this care are not only evident in the awards won, but also in the remarkable, often record-breaking, effectiveness of the advertising.
